Matchup
After falling to the Kings on Wednesday night, the Pacers (30-35) will look to bounce back on Thursday when they host the Atlanta Hawks (37-30) on the second night of a back-to-back.
Indiana has now dropped four of its last five following a 104-93 loss to the Kings. While the defense surrendered 154 points in Monday s loss in Washington, it was the offense that faltered against Sacramento. The Pacers had a season-high 22 turnovers, which the Kings converted into 25 points.
Though the Pacers are scuffling, they still remain in position to take part in the Play-In Tournament for the final two playoff spots in the Eastern Conference. The teams that finish the season in seventh through 10th place will participate in the Play-In and Indiana remains in ninth after Wednesday s games (a half-game ahead of 10th-place Washington, but 3.5 games clear of 11th-place Toronto).

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) Justin Bieber is bringing his Justice World Tour to Bankers Life Fieldhouse in April.
The newly rescheduled concert dates included the addition of the Indianapolis stop on April 21, 2022.
The tour was originally supposed to kick off this summer but COVID-19 restrictions nationwide forced its postponement to 2022.
The tour will now kick off in San Diego on Feb. 18, 2022, and wrap up in Milwaukee on June 24, 2022. The new arena stops for the tour include Indianapolis, Austin and Jacksonville.
“We’re working hard to make this tour the best one yet,” said Justin Bieber said in a press release sent to News 8 on Thursday. “I’m excited to get out there and engage with my fans again.”
Hawks defeat NBA-best Phoenix Suns 135-103
With the starters sitting the entire fourth quarter, the Atlanta Hawks defeated the Phoenix Suns 135-103 at State Farm Arena on Wednesday night.
The contributions came from everywhere: seven Hawks scored in double-figures. As a team, the Hawks shot 63% from the field, made half of their 26 threes and only missed two of their 18 free throws.
With Cam Reddish and De’Andre Hunter out, the Hawks are still not at full-strength yet. But it didn’t matter against the team with the best record in the league entering the night: Atlanta’s bench scored 74 points.

The Indiana Pacers (30-35) sit as the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference, but the way they are playing right now, that will not last. The Washington Wizards (30-36) creep just a half-game behind, and a loss to the Hawks (37-30) on Thursday and a win for the Wizards over the Raptors would have the Pacers fall to the tenth seed.
Things have not been going the Pacers way on the floor as they had 22 turnovers last night and were absolutely dominated by big-man Marvin Bagley III.
