Michigan s long, brutal winter is finally over and not only that, but this dreary fucking pandemic finally seems to be subsiding, too. So far, about 60% of Michigan residents have been vaccinated against COVID-19, and Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced that the state will lift all pandemic restrictions by July 1. (Tip: If you haven t already done so, get your ass vaccinated!) With life returning to some semblance of normal around here, we ve come up with a list of things that we missed doing in and around Detroit last summer. So get your normal ass out there and start crossing some normal-ass shit off this normal-ass list!

DETROIT Ford Motor Co on Thursday confirmed it will introduce a compact pickup truck called Maverick next week, augmenting its entry-level vehicle offerings more than three years after it said it would largely abandon the U.S. sedan market.
While Ford said it will provide more details about the truck on June 8, executives have talked about the “white-space” vehicle that will move the U.S. automaker into a new segment, and people familiar with the plans said the Maverick’s starting price will be below $20,000.

Sheryl Crow headlining Motor City Car Crawl charity gala in downtown Detroit this summer

(WXYZ) â Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow will headline the Motor City Car Crawl Charity Gala which is happening at Campus Martius on Aug. 7, 2021.
The event is part of the first-ever Motor City Car Crawl, from the Detroit Auto Dealers Association and Downtown Detroit Partnership. It s a free, outdoor, walkable event from Thursday, Aug. 5 through Sunday, Aug. 8.
The charity gala will feature an array of food and beverage offerings, and raise money for nine Detroit children s charities, which normally get money from the North American International Auto Show s Charity Preview.
It was 2006 when Dodge showcased the new-age Challenger concept at the North American International Auto Show and almost all the styling cues the show car introduced can still be seen in showrooms today. The Mopar coupe is expected to receive one final facelift for 2022/2023MY before its retirement, and this rendering aims to bring a taste of things to come.
