Premium Content Subscriber only A Tweed Heads hedge fund manager accused of defrauding millions has been banned from leaving Australia. Kenneth Charles Grace, the owner of Goldsky Asset Management LCC, appeared in Tweed Heads Local Court on Monday. Mr Grace is charged with eight counts of engaging in dishonest conduct in relation to a financial service or product between November 25, 2014 and October 29, 2018 within this jurisdiction. Mr Grace is further charged that he aided and abetted, counselled, or procured Goldsky Asset Management Australia Pty Ltd as agent for Goldsky Assessment Management LCC to carry on a financial services business without holding an Australian financial services licence.

Case delayed against man allegedly found with weapons

Ashley Sinclair Hulse’s matter was mentioned in Tweed Heads Local Court on March 12. The 27-year-old faces three counts of possessing an unauthorised firearms, two counts of possessing a prohibited weapon, two counts of supplying a prohibited drug and breach of bail. Police have allegedly found a number of weapons at a 27-year-old Tweed Heads man’s home. On September 4, 2020, police executed a search warrant at a unit in Margaret St, Tweed Heads. It is alleged officers found three operational gel blaster hand guns, a large amount of firearms parts, a canister of Oleoresin Capsicum spray, a mobile phone containing significant communications relating to drug supply, 14 Suboxone strips and a laser pointer at Mr Hulse’s residence.

Alison Marie Cornish was seen by police on Fraser Dr, Tweed Heads South on January 27 at 1.30am where she was running wide between the lanes and travelling 70 to 75km/h in a 80km/h zone. The 33-year-old was stopped for a random breath test where she told police she d consumed alcohol about one hour earlier. She returned a blood alcohol concentration of 0.154. Further checks showed her licence had also expired on January 12, 2021.

Man accused of assaulting six-week old baby out on bail

Premium Content Subscriber only A Tweed Shire man accused of assaulting a mother and her six-week-old baby has profusely denied the allegations and claimed he was the victim. The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, faces two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and one count of possessing dangerous drugs. He applied for bail in Tweed Heads Local Court on Wednesday where through his lawyer he profusely denied the allegations. The defence told the court the man had been in an argument with the alleged victim about their child, she had left to go to the car and left him with the child.
