Intelligent.com Announces Best Colleges In Iowa for 2021

The comprehensive research guide is based on an assessment of 167 accredited colleges and universities in the nation. Each program is evaluated based on curriculum quality, graduation rate, reputation, and post-graduate employment.
The 2021 rankings are calculated through a unique scoring system which includes student engagement, potential return on investment and leading third party evaluations. Intelligent.com analyzed 167 schools, on a scale of 0 to 100, with only 49 making it to the final list. The methodology also uses an algorithm which collects and analyzes multiple rankings into one score to easily compare each school.

The students, between 7 and 11 years old, were participating in Karen Millerâs piano lessons that prior to COVID-19 were held in her home.

The Music Enrichment Center at 509 Buddy Holly Place has been a beacon for the North Iowa Cultural Center & Museum, the nonprofit that operates the historic Surf Ballroom & Museum.

The Winnebago Industries Foundation made a big announcement this week, partnering with North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC), alomg with the Forest City, Lake Mills, Garner Hayfield Ventura, and North Iowa Commuity School Districts to support Advanced Manufacturing in North Iowa.

The Winnebago Industries Foundation is providing support to the John V. Hanson Career Center in Forest City, Iowa, an innovative project aligning resources from North Iowa Area Community College and the Forest City, Garner-Hayfield-Ventura, Lake Mills and North Iowa Community School Districts. This initiative will provide high school students with key educational opportunities in high demand and well-paying areas related to advanced manufacturing, construction trades, IT and healthcare. Students will earn college credit by enrolling in NIACC classes at the Career Center. This comes at no cost to the student or their parents. Textbooks, tools, and equipment are also provided to the students.
