RENO, Nev. (WOIO) - The U.S. Marshals Service arrested 21-year-old Dorrell Davis Jr. in Reno, Nevada early Wednesday for his role in the December shooting death of Tyrae Carter in Akron.
According to Akron Police, Davis Jr. was one of three people suspected of killing Carter in the area of Tampa Avenue and 28th Street SW on Dec. 3.

LAKE COUNTY, Ohio Lake County Common Pleas Court Judge John O’Donnell set bond Friday at $100,000 against a 30-year-old Willoughby man accused of killing his 3-week-old son.
William Beasley appeared Friday morning in court and pleaded not guilty to charges of murder, involuntary manslaughter, endangering children and felonious assault in the death of his son, Zachary Beasley, in May 2020. Beasley remains in the Lake County Jail, records say and his next court appearance has not yet been scheduled.
May 12, 2021 The city of Galion has named a new police chief in Marc Rodriguez. He was officially sworn in last Friday by mayor Tom O’Leary. Brian Saterfield recently retired after 17 years as Galion Police Chief. Rodriguez has been with the Galion Police Department since 2000 and also has served as a member of the US Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force in the Richland County Division for the last 10 years.

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Two men are now behind bars for the murder of a 25-year-old man in Slavic Village earlier this month.
Cleveland police said Marquel Cobb died after being shot multiple times just after midnight on May 3 in the area of Fleet and Broadway Avenues.
A juvenile was also shot, but survived.
The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Trevon Green, 22, on Monday inside an apartment building in the 4400 block of Granada Blvd. in Cleveland.
