Cumbriaâs public health nurses are holding online support sessions to offer health advice for those caring for children and young people aged between five and 19 years old.
The sessions are held each Tuesday and Thursday via a live video link that is private and secure.
During the consultation the nurse will assess the health query presented and provide support and advice.
Appointments can be made by calling the Cumbria Health On Call team on 0300 30 34 365 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
Yvonne Rowlinson, clinical lead public health 5-19 nursing service at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust, said: âWe have always ran an online service to offer support to anyone who cares for a child or young person aged from five to 19 years old but with the latest national lockdown we want to make people more aware that we are here to help.
CNTW Trust vaccinators An NHS trust is today administering the Covid-19 vaccine to its vaccinators ahead of a Trust-wide rollout next week. The Trust’s vaccination programme begins today, with appointments already booked in for some of the organisation’s most vulnerable staff. The programme is the culmination of several weeks of detailed planning, designed to ensure the programme does not have an impact on other essential services and that all those who wish to receive the vaccine will be able to. Last week, Cumbria Northublerland Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust has vaccinated 100 vaccinators, who will be administering the vaccine to staff and patients over the coming weeks and months.
