A former York man who was staying in a local motel this weekend is now locked up, accused of beating his girlfriend and shocking her in the head with a stun gun, according to police.
Jeffrey Lynn Dorm, 60, of the 6000 block of Guyer Avenue in Philadelphia, remains in York County Prison on $100,000 bail, charged with the misdemeanors of unlawful use of an incapacitation device, simple assault and possessing a prohibited offensive weapon. He’s also charged with summary harassment.
After Northern York County Regional Police separated Dorm from his 50-year-old girlfriend, she told an officer that Dorm beats her, charging documents allege.

Inside the Northern York County Regional Police Department Friday officers huddled around computers as others wore helmets with fake weapons strapped to their hips.
The department has just acquired new training technology that will put all of its 62 officers as well as any new hires to the test.
The goal is to teach officers how to react to real-life scenarios before they have to make split second decisions in communities. A completely immersive 3D experience places officers in the line of fire of active shooters and on the defense of combative individuals. The technology also teaches officers how to de-escalate confrontations and make smarter decisions

A 29-year-old woman is facing felony theft charges after she allegedly stole more than $38,000 in lottery tickets while she was working at a Rite Aid in Jackson Township.
Danielle Elaine Miller, of the first block of Lawson Court, West Manchester Township, is charged with theft by unlawful taking of movable property and receiving stolen property, which are felonies.
Miller was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge Thomas J Reilly and released on her own recognizance. A preliminary hearing is scheduled before Reilly on June 4.
She used a key to access a lottery machine inside the store and was caught on camera taking the tickets, Northern York County Regional Police said.
