Former Steelers safety and a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2020 Donnie Shell, Steelers pro scouting coordinator Brandon Hunt, NFL columnist for USA Today Jarrett Bell and co-founder of the Black College Hall of Fame James Shack Harris, all joined the conversation, sharing stories of Nunn from multiple perspectives.

IRE names veteran journalist as next executive director The IRE Board is thrilled to announce that Diana R. Fuentes will serve as the next executive director of the 6,000-member organization. She is the first person of color to serve in that role. Fuentes, a Texas native, has served as the Deputy Metro Editor of the San Antonio Express-News since 2015. She has extensive senior management and masthead-level experience running newsrooms throughout Texas, and has served on numerous boards, including the American Society of Newspaper Editors (now the News Leaders Association). She is past president, treasurer and secretary of the Texas APME and the Freedom of Information Foundation of Texas. She is a lifetime member, and former secretary and financial officer of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.

TBS’ ‘HBCU Cash Out’ Contest Scores for Startup Pop’N Creative Variety 3 hrs ago TBS wanted to find a way to reach more Black viewers with its lineup of scripted and unscripted comedies. To do so, the WarnerMedia cabler turned to a pair of former TBS marketing executives who launched their own creative shop last year in Atlanta last year. Lori J. Hall and Jessica D. Lane Alexander, co-founders of Pop’N Creative, came up with a consumer activation tailor-made for the YouTube and TikTok era. TBS’ “HBCU Cash Out” contest offered recent graduates of Historically Black Colleges and Universities the chance to get creative with a 60-second video explaining how their college degree is helping them achieve their dreams.
