According to their website, there are now 306,848 total cases, 262,589 of which are confirmed and 44,259 are probable. There are 4,650 total COVID-19 related deaths, with 4,189 being confirmed and 461 being probable. The case numbers are up by 3,876, and deaths are up by 7 since Saturday. A total of 3,937,968 COVID-19 PCR tests have now been given in Virginia. The test percent positivity rates in Hampton Roads are as follows. All health districts except for the Eastern Shore Health District are reporting rates above the state average, which is 11.3 percent.

The VHHA reports a total of 27,633 hospitalized COVID-19 patients have been discharged, an increase from 27,471 (+162) patients since Friday s update. Hospitalizations have increased in Virginia over the last 24 hours. There are currently 2,429 patients in hospitals who are either positive or whose test results are pending, up from from 2,409 (+20) from Friday, according to the VHHA. Officials said 2,111 (+36) of those patients have COVID-19 while 318 (-16) have tests pending.
