Mundelein man dies after rollover Antioch Township crash   Updated 1/9/2021 9:23 PM A 57-year-old Mundelein man died and several others were injured after two-car rollover crash in Antioch Township Saturday evening, officials said. First responders arrived to the crash on Route 173 just west of Route 45 shortly after 5:30 p.m. and found two cars with extensive damage, according to Sgt. Chris Covelli of the Lake County Sheriff s Department.   Preliminary investigation shows a 1997 Chevy Blazer had just exited a nearby gas station and was heading westbound on Route 173 when the driver a 59-year-old Mundelein man attempted to make a U-turn and was struck by a westbound 1999 Lexus ES 300, Covelli said. The Blazer rolled, Covelli said, and deputies found the Blazer s passenger on the roadway when they arrived on scene. Good Samaritans were performing CPR on him, according to Covelli.
