(WFIE) - A Posey County man has been arrested after an early morning police chase in Vanderburgh County, and he’s facing a long list of charges. Deputies say Kyle Vincent led police on that chase and when he finally stopped his car, police say Vincent barricaded himself in the car. Kyle Vincent. (Source: Vanderburgh Co. Jail) It all started just before 1 a.m. Evansville police tried to pull Vincent over at Iowa and Main Street when he took off.

(WFIE) - The jury in an Evansville murder trial has found Wendy Payne guilty of reckless homicide. She was originally facing a murder charge after being accused of stabbing her husband. [ According to the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office, they were called to a home in the 2000 block of Glenview Drive to a reported suspicious circumstance. Police say Wendy called 911 saying she stabbed her husband in the chest. No word yet on when Payne will be sentenced.
