Washington has been giving coronavirus vaccinations for nearly two months now.
But even as officials have set up a number of mass vaccination clinics and created mobile vaccine teams to reach more people the state is still receiving only a fraction of the number of doses providers are requesting and has not yet come close to meeting its target of vaccinating 45,000 people per day.

Constituents are telling the King County Council the process to get a COVID-19 vaccine is frustrating, and sometimes takes them hours to schedule an appointment, or even to find out if they re eligible for one. One council member thinks the answer is a streamlined source of information and a unified vaccine appointment system.
Councilmember Claudia Balducci, who represents the Eastside in District 6, said in a phone interview while the biggest obstacle is a low supply of doses, she believes the lack of easily accessible information is something local government can tackle. On Friday, she sent out a survey to constituents asking how their experience has been trying to schedule a vaccine.
