Bernat was arrested Thursday by the Regional Crime Suppression Unit on a felony fugitive warrant. He faces a charge of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14 for actions that allegedly took place in South Lake Tahoe, according to the sheriff s office. Officials say Bernat is known to use the aliases Ryan or Rayan Samones, Ryan Bernat and Mykee Daws. Bernat has lived his entire adult life in Washoe County, and detectives are seeking information from anyone who may have been victimized by him previously, the sheriff s office wrote in a press statement Saturday. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
