Mitch Freedman says the cobalt cloud that has hung over his stable for two years is “no way to live” and has demanded action from
Racing Victoria.
A Freedman-trained horse returned a cobalt positive in
June 2018, yet Freedman has not been charged and says he has no idea how the positive occurred. He said he did not even use vitamins that stewards suggested may have caused a spate of cobalt positives.
Freedman contacted
RV chief steward Jamie Stier last week to seek answers about the swab and whether he would be charged.
