HANOI (Vietnam News/ANN): The immediate and long-term tasks of the country and the National Assembly (NA) require the legislative body to continue reforms to enhance efficiency, thus contributing more to national development and international integration, and realising the 13th National Party Congress’ resolution, NA Chairwoman Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân has said.
In an interview with the Vietnam News Agency, the top legislator said 2021 is an important year as it is a transition to a new tenure and the first year of implementing the 13th National Party Congress’s resolution.

HO CHI MINH CITY (Vietnam News/ANN): Vietnam will become an attractive destination for franchising businesses after the pandemic ends, experts have said.
Nguyễn Tuấn, deputy director of the HCM City Investment and Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC), told the ‘Start your own business with franchise model’ seminar in the city last week:

HANOI (Vietnam News/ANN): The Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) officially rolled out a programme supporting the digital transformation of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), called SMEdx, in Hanoi late last week.
It is part of a series of projects to support SMEs via “Make in Vietnam” platforms, carried out by MIC in partnership with the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), and the Vietnam Nam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (Vinasme) this year.
Speaking at the launch ceremony, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyễn Huy Dũng said the SMEdx programme provides an opportunity for the SME community to explore and experience different digital platforms in order to select one that best fits their needs.
