Margot Restaurant / Alfaro/Acevedo Arquitectura

© Ramiro Sosa Text description provided by the architects. The work was conceived from a client s premise: “farm-to-table”. From this concept and considering the characteristics of the garden neighborhood of the place, a simple typology was thought of, of unique and flexible space surrounded by nature. Where the dining room coexists in the central area, the open kitchen at one end and the bar at the other.

Alice Medical Clinic / noak studio + acr arquitetura

© Carolina Lacaz Combining authenticity, sophistication and a touch of relaxation, the project intended to provide an emotional and familiar experience to users, understanding that this premise was already part of the brand concept. As Alice intends to redefine the relationship between health professionals, with a lot of technology and hospitality, architecture sought to reflect these values in the layout and design. © Carolina Lacaz On the façade, one of the highlights of the project is the white bioclimatic membrane that makes the visibility near the entrance porch translucent, so as to highlight the internal courtyard from the street, bringing transparency and fluidity to the space. Understanding that this fluidity is part of community life, the internal space was designed to be completely free, without obstacles.

Zerno Coffee Shop / Studio11

© Alexandra Ovseets Text description provided by the architects. The design concept of Zerno overcame a change in the process of construction after the demolition works revealed fragments of old stucco moldings and decorated ceilings. This discovery encouraged us to build the interior around these small pieces of living history in the very heart of the city. The coffee shop has two lighting scenarios: diffused lighting for the ceiling and spotlights for wall-mounted artifacts. © Alexandra Ovseets A composition of light metal trays floating at a distance from the ceiling emphasizes the ceiling décor by providing soft ambiance and creating the effect of ‘museum lighting’. A floor-to-ceiling window allowing a maximum of lighting inside is one more advantage of the space. The seats are designed to enframe the window on both sides without blocking it.

Nina Barcelona Restaurant / Liat Eliav design studio

© Jose Hevia Text description provided by the architects. Space is characterized by traditional building features, which were important for the studio to maintain. The main goal was to reach the right balance between the authentic attributes that radiate warmth and intimacy and the modern elements. This was achieved by uncovering the original building materials and leaving them exposed and raw in front of the high-end modern materials. © Jose Hevia The large windows allow the charm of the place to spill out in an inviting way for the people walking on the pedestrian and allow plenty of natural and pleasant light to get in at the same time.
