Growing up in a Milwaukee suburb I was lucky enough to live in a city with lot s of ethnic diversity. And with that comes some traditional foods from other countries, but I have to say I have never heard of this dish before. Apparently it is a German food and even the sound of it makes we want to barf. I am not sure what they call it there, but in Wisconsin it is lovingly called A Cannibal Sandwich.
If you’ve never heard of this delicacy, it’s probably because you don’t live in Wisconsin (and you have some self-respect). Cannibal sandwiches, also known as “tiger meat,” are essentially raw ground beef topped with sliced raw onions and sandwiched between two slices of rye bread.

WISCONSIN â More than 10,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Wisconsin so far, the Department of Health Services reported Monday.
The news comes just a week after the first shipment of doses reached Wisconsin.
The Wisconsin Department of Health reported that 10,358 total doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered and reported to the Wisconsin Immunization Registry in the state.
That number is as of Sunday and is expected to increase, especially after Governor Tony Evers announced the first shipment of the newly approved Moderna vaccine will arrive this week.

Vaccines will be rolled out over the coming months, but in the meantime, cold weather, isolation, and already-strained public health infrastructure will converge in the state this winter.

The first snow to stick to the ground in Green Bay this year arrived on November 15. It was a mild start to a mild winter (thus far) in the state, but foreshadowed a season of difficulty to come and not just in terms of weather. By the next afternoon, the snow had melted completely off the roads and green grass poked through on front lawns. Two days later, there were ninety-two new deaths reported among confirmed COVID-19 cases, Wisconsin’s deadliest day that month.
Aitkin and Ashland, 1 each.
Since patients in intensive care with COVID-19 often stay hospitalized for around three weeks, the number of deaths can lag behind any decrease in cases.
About 1,330 more Northland residents have tested positive, according to the states of Minnesota and Wisconsin s daily updates from the last week. It s the region s sixth-highest number for new cases added in a week.
The most new cases the region has had in one week was more than 3,100 in mid-November.
The weekly testing positivity rate the percentage of completed diagnostic tests from the last week that came back positive decreased in St. Louis, Lake, Itasca and Koochiching counties, according to data from the Minnesota Department of Health. The most substantial decrease was in Itasca County with a 3% drop, followed by St. Louis County with a 2.6% drop.

MADISON, Wisc. – According to Wisconsin’s Department of Health, thousands of vaccines have been distributed across the state.
Almost 50,000 doses were given to eight hubs throughout the state of Wisconsin so far this week to a small amount of healthcare providers.
So far, almost two hundred vaccines have been administered, but how the vaccine will be administered in nursing homes will be different.
“The residents of most long-term care facilities will be done through the pharmacy program,” Division of Public Health Immunization Program Manager, Stephanie Schauer says. “Which is a federal program which is pairing up CVS and Walgreens with facilities involved in obtaining consent and delivering the vaccine if someone is impaired or unable to make those decisions.
