9 more cases of COVID-19 were confirmed on Tuesday by the Sheboygan County Division of Public Health, raising the county total during the pandemic to 13,810 cases. The 86 total test results received since Monday stand in stark contrast to the numbers which, in November last year, sometimes exceeded 900. Likewise, vaccinations have been slowing compared to peak levels reached in early April, when daily doses averaged over 1300 per day. By contrast, only 123 vaccinations were administered since Monday in Sheboygan County according to statistics from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. The percentage of fully vaccinated county residents advanced by only one-tenth to 39.9%, and 45,964 persons, 98 more than on Monday, are fully vaccinated against the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
