The Leadership is an independent documentary by award winning director Ili Baré and produced by Bunya Productions, which focuses on the first Homeward Bound program and the systemic inequalities for women in STEMM. Salty Dawg Offers Full Rally Schedule for 2021 By Sandy Parks · On May 14, 2021 Even through the pandemic over the last year, the Salty Dawg Sailing Association found ways to run rallies for cruisers. The most impressive effort was a year ago when the SDSA organized the Homeward Bound rally for cruisers in the Caribbean who wanted to sail in company back to the States, often with crews that were not as numerous or experienced as they would have been in normal years. Some 184 boats made the passage while the SDSA provided daily weather information, communications and tracking for each boat. And, they ran the rally for free. It was an amazingly complex and generous effort. Well, in 2021, the SDSA is offering a full calendar of rallies for cruisers that emphasize, as always, safe offshore sailing and cruising with an emphasis on camaraderie, cooperation and fun. Camden County Government: Partnership Brings 50 Tons Of Donated Pet Food To Homeward Bound

Reply May 13, 2021 The Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center s pet pantry is overflowing thanks to the generosity of their partners at Amazon and the Camden County Board of Commissioners.  Subscribe   On Friday, May 14, the Center will celebrate the one-year anniversary of its partnership with the Amazon distribution center in Swedesboro, which has brought over 50 tons of pet food to the shelter since beginning during the height of the pandemic last year. Through this partnership, pet food items which would have otherwise been thrown away due to marketing changes, minor damage, or customer return, are now donated to the shelter on a weekly basis. The food is used to support animals in the shelter s care and is distributed throughout the community to assist pet owners in need.

1 week ago Share The goal of the Homeward Bound program is to focus on offering practical job skills and the “soft skills” training that will allow inmates to return to the community ready to compete for gainful employment. by: Brittany Kershaw Public Affairs Manager, Flagler County Sheriff’s Office The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office has partnered with Flagler Technical College on the program “Homeward Bound” for inmates at the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility. The program teaches practical job skills through training courses to better prepare inmates for job readiness. The first course offered will train inmates to print and apply custom designed vinyl graphics onto vehicles. Future training will include pre-apprenticeship classes in the areas of Heating and Air Conditioning and Electrical.
