Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Friday categorically rejected the speculations of any secret talks between Pakistan and India through backdoor channels or third party involvement – the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
“We are not having any talks [with India] at the moment. UAE is not facilitating any talks,” Qureshi told
TRT, a Turkish television network.
The foreign minister said that UAE had good relations with both Pakistan and India, the two South Asian nuclear states, but there were no such talks taking place at the moment.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said Islamabad is ready to resolve differences with New Delhi through dialogue if it revisits unilateral abrogation of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir s (IIOJK) semi-autonomous status.
“If India is willing to re-visit some of the decisions that they took on August 5, 2019, Pakistan will be more than happy to engage, sit and talk out our differences and sit and through a dialogue resolve the outstanding issues,” he said on Sunday in an interview with
Anadolu Agency during his two-day visit to Turkey.
