Police Chase Through Westmoreland County Ends In Two Arrests
Westmoreland County Sheriff C. O. Balderson reports a vehicle pursuit initiated by law enforcement authorities in King George County on Thursday, April 01, 2021 ended in a foot pursuit with the arrest and multiple charges of two individuals in the Town of Montross by the Westmoreland County Sheriff’s Office.
32 year-old Jamal R. Austin, of Temple Hills, MD, was charged with one count each of transporting a controlled substance into the commonwealth with intent to distribute, possession of stolen property, felony eluding, obstruction of justice, reckless driving, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and two counts of damage to property. Mr. Austin was also charged on three outstanding warrants from King George County.
