GREAT FALLS â After more than a week of remote learning due to frozen pipes, students at Whittier Elementary School in Great Falls will soon be back in the classroom.
Great Falls Public Schools announced Tuesday afternoon the school will reopen February 25.
The school district had previously said students would be learning remotely through at least February 26.
According to the district, the pipes had been fixed as of Tuesday and there is now adequate heat in the building.

GFPS said in a news release that packet drop-off and pick-up is scheduled for Monday, February 22, from 2-4 pm at the school, and the school office will remain open throughout the entire closure. Call the office if you have questions or concerns at 268-7230.
