Emergency services rushed to the scene after the blaze broke out shortly before 6pm on Tuesday (March 16) in Pit Lane, Trowell. People in the area reported hearing a few loud bangs as the fire broke out, with videos and pictures at the scene showing large flames emanating from the gas substation.
