Man dies trapped in tractor equipment while cleaning turkey barn in Stearns County Paul Walsh, Star Tribune
A man became trapped in a piece of tractor equipment while cleaning a turkey barn in central Minnesota and was killed, authorities said.
The incident occurred late Friday afternoon on a farm 2 miles west of Melrose, the Stearns County Sheriff s Office said.
Keith D. Kingsley, 32, of Melrose, was pronounced dead at the scene, the Klaphake Feed Mill on County Road 186, the Sheriff s Office said.
Kingsley was sanitizing the barn s interior when he became trapped in the metal shaft that transfers mechanical power between the tractor and an implement, according to the Sheriff s Office.

MELROSE, Minn. A Melrose, Minn., man was killed Friday, Jan. 8, in a tractor accident.
The Stearns County Sheriff s Office responded to a 911 call at about 5:21 p.m. Friday, according to a news release. When officers arrived at the property, on about 2 miles west of Melrose on County Road 186, they found Keith Deane Kingsley, 32, entangled and trapped in the power take off shaft of the tractor he was using, according to the release
