Family, friends and police have boots on the ground and helicopters overhead as the search continues on Wednesday for a 63-year-old mother who was reported missing after leaving Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze. Dorothy Syversten of Midland Beach was captured on surveillance video leaving the hospital on Monday night “and then absolutely nothing after that,” according to daughter, Nicole Lambert.

Nasreen Goondall, 31, was the driver of the white Nissan sedan that lost control and struck a tree about 150 feet south of the intersection of Todt Hill Road and Four Corners Road, according to an NYPD press release. The white sedan suffered significant front-end damage and its airbags were deployed.
