Stratford police have charged a 29-year-old Perth East man with impaired driving after a vehicle was forced off the road and into a ditch in Stratford’s south end Tuesday morning.
Police said a white Ford Fusion travelling south on Erie Street, near Perth Line 29, crossed over the centre line and hit a black Mazda CX5 that had been travelling north.

Police arrived on scene shortly before after 11:30 a.m. and found the Mazda in the ditch on the east side of the road, while the Ford was parked on the west side. After speaking with the driver of the Ford, officers formed the opinion he was impaired by drug and arrested him.
