The 60 year-old man was reportedly trapped in a grain bin southwest of Jamestown just after 6 PM Wednesday. Officials with the Sheriff’s Office, Jamestown Rural Fire Department, and Jamestown Area Ambulance responded to the scene. Jamestown man arrested after pursuit Thursday

Pursuit occurred after 2 p.m. Written By: Kathy Steiner | × Gary Zink Jr. The Jamestown Police Department arrested a Jamestown man following a pursuit Thursday, according to Maj. Justin Blinsky, assistant chief of police. Gary Frederick Zinck Jr., 45, is in custody in the Stutsman County Correctional Center, arrested on suspicion of felony fleeing or attempting to elude police, felony reckless endangerment and on a North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation warrant of arrest. Zinck was also cited for possession of marijuana. Blinsky said a Jamestown police officer attempted to stop a 2009 Ford Focus for a traffic violation at 2:22 p.m. Thursday in the 800 block of 4th Avenue Northeast. The vehicle immediately fled from officers, driving in a reckless manner, according to Blinsky. The driver of the vehicle, Zinck, was later determined to be wanted on a warrant and had a passenger in the vehicle with him.

Vehicle Pursuit of Wanted Subject in Jamestown Thursday

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A man is in custody after leading police on a pursuit Thursday afternoon. On January 14th, a Jamestown Police Officer attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation just after 2 PM in the 800 block of 4th Avenue NE. Major Justin Blinksy reports the vehicle immediately fled from officers in a reckless manner. It was determined the male driver was wanted on a warrant and had a passenger in the vehicle. The vehicle fled through northeast Jamestown before leaving city limits on Stutsman County Road 40. The vehicle drove on several gravel county roads before entering the town of Spiritwood.

Sabrina Grisham, 50, Knoxville, Tennessee, was found in the parking lot of the Two Rivers Inn-East in Jamestown around 11:15 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 8. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death.
