Vietnam gas consumption to double in next 10 years: Fitch Solutions
Gas demand is expected to rise from about 9.7 billion cubic meters (bcm) in 2020 to above 25.3bcm in 2030, while influx of LNG helps to counter the decline in domestic production.
Vietnam’s gas consumption is predicted to accelerate strongly over the coming decade, more than doubling, over the duration of the upcoming Power Development Plan VIII (PDP VIII) [2021-2030].

VOV.VN - A Vietnamese University has entered into a partnership with Naver, the largest internet company in the Republic of Korea as part of a national strategy that seeks to transform the Southeast Asian nation into a global player in artificial intelligence by the start of the next decade, according to Japanese financial publication Nikkei Asia.

Hybrid electric vehicles (HEV), which have maximum fuel economy, low emissions and smooth operation, are suited to Vietnam’s climate and transport conditions, experts say.
Auto manufacturers are trying to make environmentally friendly and fuel-saving cars by pursuing electric models, which are becoming the flagship models of many manufacturers.
Electric vehicles are classified into four groups: HEV, PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle), BEV (battery electric vehicle) and FCEV (fuel cell electric vehicle). The core parts are an electric engine, battery and electricity storage unit.
