No threat to Haryana govt: Khattar, deputy Dushyant meet Amit Shah

New Delhi, Jan 12: Facing heat over the ongoing six-week-long farmers agitation, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala on Tuesday said there is no threat to the BJP-JJP coalition government and it will complete its full five year term.

After an hour-long meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, both Khattar and Chautala said they have discussed about the prevailing law and order situation in the state. There is no threat to the Haryana government and it will last its full five year term, Chautala told PTI.

Chandigarh [India], January 11 (ANI): Congress leader and former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Sunday advised Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar to talk to the Centre over farmers protests and find a solution.
Hooda, while talking to ANI in Chandigarh said the State government should refrain from conflicts because the situation is serious. Law and order situation is already out of control.
The statement came after agitating farmers vandalised the venue of Kisan Mahapanchayat called by Khattar in Karnal district on Sunday. Protesting farmers also damaged the helipad where Khattar was scheduled to land. Haryana Police used tear gas shells and water cannons to disperse the protesting farmers.

Chandigarh (Haryana) [India], January 12 (ANI): As part of efforts to give boost to tourism in the state, Haryana Government has decided to develop Pipli in Kurukshetra as a world-class tourist hub.
The decision was taken in the meeting of Haryana Sarasvati Heritage Development Board (HSHDB) held under the chairmanship of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today.
The tourist hub would be developed by Haryana Sarasvati Heritage Development Board (HSHDB).
It will be developed on Saraswati Setu in Pipli and would attract tourists from within the country and abroad and place Haryana on the international tourist map, a state government release said on Monday.
