The Hartford Yard Goats will play their first home game at Dunkin’ Donuts Park in almost two years tonight against the Portland Sea Dogs.
The coronavirus pandemic prompted Minor League Baseball to cancel its 2020 season. As a result, it has been 621 days since the Yard Goats, the Double-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, have played a game before spectators in Hartford.

Dunkin’ Donuts Park will revert to full capacity on May 19, the date Connecticut drops almost all of its remaining COVID-19-related restrictions. Still, the park is requiring that all visitors 2 years of age or older wear masks covering their nose and mouth. Guests will be allowed to temporarily remove their face coverings while eating or drinking in their seats.
