GEORGIA If you re mailing your tax return late today, there s only one post office in the metro Atlanta area that will accept it after hours and ensure that it s postmarked on May 17.
The U.S. Post Office near Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport located at 3900 Crown Road is open until midnight, according to U.S. Postal Service spokesperson Rick Badie.
The only other post office that s open somewhat past regular business hours is in Duluth at 1605 Boggs Road, which is open until 7 p.m. Unlike past years, the Boggs Road location is

On May 14, the Italian government issued a new decree stating that Italy will be expanding the availability of what it calls “COVID-tested flights” to all American passengers effective May 16. Until now, these flights have only been available to those traveling for approved essential reasons. Another order issued in tandem stated that travelers from Europe, the United Kingdom, and Israel no longer need to quarantine in Italy if they test negative for COVID-19.

SPOKANE, Wash. Nearly 200 goats will soon be on the job to help reduce wildfire risk at three of Spokane s natural park lands.
According to a press release from Spokane Parks and Recreation, the program is aimed at lessening fire risk in natural areas by reducing brush and tree sapling density. The goats will be at Meadowglen Park on Friday, May 14, Minnehaha Park from May 18-23 and the South Hill Bluff and Hangman Park from May 23-29. A map of parks in Spokane is available online.
Delta will require new employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 but won't impose the same requirement on current workers. American, United, Southwest and Alaska airlines do not plan to require vaccination for current or new workers.
