Tampa police make arrest on 2nd anniversary of double murder

TAMPA, Fla. - Tampa police arrested Garian Brown Friday morning and charged him with two counts of murder in a double homicide that occurred January 8, 2019.
According to TPD, officers responding to reports of a shooting on January 8, 2019, found a Chevrolet Camaro crashed into a house. Police say the driver, an adult male, suffered a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to Tampa General Hospital where he died. The passenger, an adult female, was ejected from the car and was also found to have suffered gunshot wounds to her upper body.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL A multiple burglary suspect who targeted locally owned Hillsborough businesses in December was arrested Monday, according to deputies.
Joseph Williams, 39, is charged with burglary of an unoccupied structure, the Hillsborough County Sheriff s Office said. Williams is accused of burglarizing the following businesses during a Dec. 19 crime spree:
Taste of China, 8476 Sheldon Road, Town N Country
Keystone Cafe, 8741 Gunn Highway
Bahama Bucks, 8527 Gunn Highway,
New China, 17625 Gunn Highway
Kang Gardens, 12221 W Linebaugh Avenue
Detectives said during each burglary, the suspect broke the front glass and tried to steal money from each register.

TAMPA, Fla. - The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office arrested Carl Feltus, 22, on Wednesday for manslaughter, two counts of tampering with physical evidence, and felon in possession of a firearm, following a fatal shooting on Dec. 2, 2020. With the closure of any homicide investigation, we are able to bring relief to the victim s family knowing the person who took their loved one s life is now off of our streets, said Sheriff Chad Chronister. With this arrest, the process can now begin to ensure that justice is served.
