HTX Geek Fest at Karbach Brewing Co. With no Comicpalooza in nearly two years—and this year’s fest not hitting the George R. Brown Convention Center until July—that Batman costume or Sailor Moon cosplay outfit may be collecting dust in the back of your closet, unless the pandemic has driven you to put on your Captain America outfit and reenact Avengers: Endgame just to feel something (no judgement here). Karbach Brewing Co. invites you to pull out those outfits and head to the Heights brewery on Sunday for a day filled to the brim with nerdy fun. There’s no better way to cure the end-of-weekend blues than to crack open a couple Crawford Bocks, eat some Korean fried chicken, listen to some tunes provided by a live DJ, and hang out with other heroes, villains, and sidekicks.
