Penny Short Hartle, 50, of Hendersonville, is charged with second-degree murder in the death of her child, according to Henderson County deputies.Deputies said the stabbing happened Sunday morning at a home on Fiesta Lane in Hendersonville. The first 911 call was made at 7:41 a.m. from a homeowner on Mazyck Lane, which is just off Fiesta Lane. Hey, I have someone who just randomly walked into my house and scared me, the caller said. She randomly laid in my bed while I was in it and passed out. The caller told dispatchers that she and her boyfriend were sleeping when they heard a voice and felt someone touch them. ATHENS, Texas (KLTV) - Deputies with the Henderson County Sheriffâs Office arrested two brothers Saturday in connection with allegations that they sexually assaulted and beat a woman they did drugs with over the course of several days.
Levi Gad Lebleu, 40, and Anthony Michael Cline Lebleu, 41, both of Athens, are still being held in the Henderson County Jail.
Levi Lebleu has been charged with aggravated sexual assault, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance between 4 and 200 grams, and fraudulent use of or possession of identifying items. He also has a long list of charges from previous alleged crimes. Collectively, his bond amount has been set at $1.45 million.
Sheriff s deputies and emergency workers responding to a call to 265 Fiesta Lake 8:43 a.m. Sunday found that the child had died of the injuries she received. As a result of the investigation, it was determined the suspect of the stabbing was the mother of the child.
Penny Short Hartle, 50 of Hendersonville, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder. She was jailed without bond and scheduled for a first appearance in Henderson County District Court on Monday morning.
