Police are investigating after a bank card was stolen from a car in Watford before being used in two supermarkets in the town centre. The card was taken from a parked car in Raphael Drive between 5pm on Friday, April 16 and 8.20am on Saturday, April 17, Hertfordshire Constabulary said. The card was later used in three separate transactions at shops on Watford High Street, first at Sainsbury’s, then B&M and finally Tesco. Officers investigating the theft have released an image of a man they would like to identify as part of their enquiries. PC Rory Farmer, who is investigating, said: “We have carried out extensive enquiries since we received this crime report and we have since acquired this image of a person we believe could assist our investigation. If you recognise them, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
