A Fayette man is facing a felony following an incident in Howard County back in September.
The Howard County Sheriff’s Department says, on September 3, a deputy observed Theodis L. Whitley near the 200 block of Vine Street in Fayette.
When the deputy attempted to make contact with Whitley to advise him of the outstanding warrants out of Howard County, Whitley fled on foot.
Whitley’s warrant is for a Class E Felony for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. Bond is set at $4,950 cash or surety with 10-percent allowed.
Following this incident, Whitley has been charged with a Class E Felony for Resisting or Interfering with Arrest for a Felony. At this time, the court has not set bond for this case.
