(WECT) - New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help from the public identifying a male that allegedly committed aggravated assault. NHCSO posted a photo of the male suspect to their Facebook page on Tuesday. They say the crime happened on April 10 at the the Scotchman at 5302 Carolina Beach Rd. (WWBT) - A Hanover County high school senior is determined to make it across the stage to receive her diploma after a serious car crash. On April 18th, family says 18-year-old Mackenzie Greene was driving home and lost control of her car, approaching a curve in the road. The Hanover County Sheriff’s Office says on Beaverdam Road she collided with several trees. Greene’s sisters say she crashed into a ravine, and found the strength to climb back up to the road. A couple eventually stopped to help her.

(WECT) - The two teens reported missing to New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office Monday morning have been located and safely returned home. The sheriff’s office reported Monday evening that Sarah Elizabeth Williams, 16, and Mason Edward Huie, 16, have been found. Williams was last seen on April 28 on Lockwood Drive. She was last seen wearing a white tank top and pajama shorts. Williams is 5′7 and weighs about 120 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and has a butterfly tattoo on her left wrist.
