The Security Research Group (SRG) is a student-run research group at the Department of International Politics, Aberystwyth University.
The aim of the group is to provide an integrating platform where academic interests and disciplines related to the study of security can be fruitfully brought together.
Areas of interest include health security, environmental security, human security, national security, securitization theory, intelligence studies, strategic studies, critical security studies, post-structural approaches to security, terrorism and critical terrorism studies, gender, feminist and queer studies and post-colonial approaches to security..
