Bridge to Justice Foundation is an ambitious project that we have just launched.
Our ultimate goal is probably best described as two prong: 1) to create a practical and affordable process by which families with minor children can safely and peacefully separate with minimal court involvement; and 2) to provide effective and aggressive representation to CHILDREN who are caught in contested custody cases, including cases involving allegations of violence or abuse.

Our hope is that by offering consolidated services on a sliding flat fee scale, we can relieve the oftentimes huge and prohibitive financial burden of litigation on families who are already suffering the financial difficulties that accompanies family break ups.
Our second hope is that by providing pro bono (no charge) services to represent children in contested and court entrenched family break-ups, we can ensure that the child's perspective is properly considered by the courts, and in cases involving allegations of abuse, the allegations are properly investigated and advocacy by the child's attorney reflects those results.

Bridge will depend to significant degree on private donations, especially to fund the representation of children in contested custody cases.
Our budget is HERE Can you give something to our cause? Every dollar counts! Donations go to pay direct services, first to pay court costs, and then to cover costs for attorneys and litigation expenses, including for transcripts, subpoenas and depositions.
Our attorney(s) work at significantly reduced rates, as do the rest of the staff.
Most are volunteers though eventually, we hope to be able to hire full time staff.
