Detailed description is Pre-Collegiate Programs works with FAU departments to host a variety of educational immersion programs for non-enrolled minors in surrounding communities.
The Pre-Collegiate Programs Office (PcPO) has established Program Operating Standards and Guidelines for those who may work or interact with individuals under 18 years of age, with the goal of promoting the safety and well being of minors.
Florida Atlantic University regularly hosts a wide variety of university sponsored or sanctioned programs and activities for non-enrolled minors such as: experiential learning programs, summer and year-round camps, clinics, workshops, conferences, and other educational activities.
The aforementioned activities are located both on-campus and off-campus under university supervision.
We take seriously the responsibility to provide appropriate oversight and supervision to non-enrolled minors and our standards are designed to keep them healthy and safe while they are engaged in FAU programs.
