The FACSA Foundation (Family and Friends Fighting Against Child Sexual Assault) was founded May 2009, by Connie Lee to combat the issue of child sexual assault in communities across Louisiana.
We currently provide pro-bono attorneys and counselors for children of child sexual assault and their families.
We give them guidance, resources; go to court with them, and whatever they and their family need to heal.
We promote healing and hope through our free community education and prevention conferences, and speaking engagements at churches, schools, clubs, and businesses, for we feel everyone is affected by trauma, not just from child sexual assault and human trafficking.
We have taken our mission on the road to teach community leaders, grandparents, and families, how to be the front line defense for their children; which signs to look for, solutions, and safe exit plans.
We teach them to thrive and not just survive from trauma; how to live and not merely exist..

The challenge we seem to face in America and across the globe is too many of our children are being sexually assaulted in their homes, where they are supposed to feel safe, and too many people are turning away in indifference.
Child sexual assault has1 in 3 girls and one in six boys are sexually assaulted before their 18th birthday.
Five children die a day due to abuse.
Human trafficking, which is becoming more predominate in the U.S., is a 32 billion dollar industry, surpassing the drug industry.

The FACSA Foundation (Family and Friends Fighting Against Child Sexual Assault) began a nationwide "Shattering The Silence Tour," to educate communities on prevention of child sexual assault and human trafficking, to Shatter The Silence, which perpetrators use to control their victims.
We are filming a documentary on survivor’s stories, and the latest healing therapies, and counseling techniques for the healing of any type of trauma.

Potential Long Term Impact.

The long term impact will give children hope to see so many, united, fighting for them; to provide safer environments for children to fulfill their dreams; to change the public policies, and to Shatter The Silence of a multi-generational eidemic.
With prevention and education on this nationwide tour, and promoting local organizations who have joined us, we can reduce the 24.3 billion dollars of direct cost to states due to child sexual assault.
