Detailed description is Are you a legal adult in Canada? We are looking for participants to take part in a study that is interested in understanding how physical measures, cognition, and health help us understand change across the life span.
What is required? You will: .
•Complete a survey on current activity levels, health, and cognitive status..
•Complete two short tasks of physical function..
* If a task might aggravate a condition then the participant need not complete that task..
•Complete a series of indoor walking tasks on the University of Victoria’s newly acquired state of the art gait assessment mat..
*Volunteers will be asked to walk a total of 160 feet on the mat, which is not beyond what an ambulatory adult would do in their everyday life.
Individuals who could not walk safely 160 feet will not be able to participate in the study.
