1,924 COVID-19 cases, 30 deaths in county to date Saturday, March 13, 2021 10:00 AM Iowa State Department of Health's COVID-19 reporting service released the new data of positive caseloads throughout the state. According to the March 13 report, there have been total of 17 positive cases in Winneshiek County in the past seven days. There have been 1,924 positive cases and 30 virus-related deaths in the county since reporting began one year ago in March of 2020. In her regular updates to the Winneshiek County Board of Supervisors, Winneshiek County Public Health Administrator Krista Vanden Brink continues to stress the need for concern regarding the spread of the coronavirus.
