Emmet County Records Additional COVID-19 Related Death By charguth June 9, 2021 11:09 am clipart.com Des Moines, IA (KICD)– The Iowa Department of Public Health is reporting 141 new cases of COVID-19 in the state as of 11 a.m. Wednesday taking the state to 402,747 total cases and 6,084 virus-related deaths. Locally, the largest 24-hour increase in cases is in O’Brien County with four, followed by two in Buena Vista, Dickinson and Kossuth Counties, one in Clay and Pocahontas Counties and no change in confirmed cases in Osceola and Palo Alto Counties. A one case reduction was reported in Cherokee and Emmet Counties with health officials are noting one additional resident of Emmet County has died from complications related to the virus.
