Spirit Lake Schools COVID-19 Update By mmcwilliams January 12, 2021 6:00 am Saga Communications Spirit Lake, IA (KICD) — Monday night, the Spirit Lake School Board went over COVID-19 numbers in the school and changes to their policies. Angela Olson, the Director of District Office and Stem Projects says they have extended the FFCRA for their employer-paid leave.
Olson says the numbers at the schools continue to remain low. Olson says they also went over the numbers for online learning and says they started with 62 kids in August, and out of those 62, 56 finished at Christmas break. With the start on January 4th, they now have 48 students enrolled in online learning.
