19-year-old killed in head-on crash, 4 others hurt in Van Bu

A 19-year-old Van Buren Township resident was killed and four others were injured--_ one critically -- after a head-on crash Sunday on Belleville Road south of Ecorse.
At around 6:25 p.m., the Van Buren Township Public Safety Department and the Huron Valley Ambulance were dispatched to the scene, where a 16-year-old boy lost control of his car, according to a news release from Van Buren police.
The 16-year-old Van Buren Township resident was driving a black Pontiac G6 that crossed the center line of Belleville Road and headed directly into the path of a Chevrolet Trailblazer traveling northbound on Belleville Road.
