A CANNABIS warehouseman was caught with almost £14,000-worth of the class B drug in his garden shed, a court heard.
Ieuan Davies, who began smoking cannabis when he was 13 years old, told police he had been storing the drugs for a friend – who he did not name.
The 29-year-old also admitted preparing the drugs for the anonymous friend by stripping leaves from the buds so the plants could be sold on the street.
Sentencing Davies to five months imprisonment suspended for 18 months, Judge Peter Crabtree said: “This was a serious offence in which a reasonable quantity of cannabis was left in your shed for safety reasons. You were entrusted with it and you played a part in preparing it for your friend to deal.
