Author: Two young Minnesotans were killed in western Nebraska when a motorist ran a stop sign and slammed into their vehicle, authorities say. The Nebraska State Patrol reports that 22-year-old Remington Harder, of Hutchinson, and 24-year-old Josey Tensen, of Glenwood, were traveling together in a small SUV on Hwy. 87 near Hay Springs when a man driving a pickup ran a stop sign at an intersection and hit their SUV. Harder and Tensen were ejected from the vehicle and both died at the scene. The 45-year-old Nebraska man who authorities say ran the stop sign suffered injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening, the State Patrol said.
