North Arkansas Electric Cooperative (NAEC) will have two planned outages for members served by the Norfork Substation beginning at 4 a.m. Tuesday and 4 a.m. Friday. The outages are necessary for Southwestern Power Administration personnel to perform work on the dam’s substation and switchyard safely. Each outage is expected to last one-and-a-half hours and will affect the 1,938 member accounts in and around Norfork, Jordan, Lone Rock and Shady Grove areas.
