Noida: Two men were arrested after a gunfight in Sector 58 early Thursday morning. According to police, on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday, the accused allegedly tried to cut open an ATM of Axis Bank in Chhajarsi area. On Wednesday, an FIR was lodged against the duo. The robbers were identified as Sehnwaz Khan and Haider Ali, both are from Gautam Budh Nagar. Ankur Aggarwal, ADCP (Noida) told TOI that they received a tip-off that the two men will go towards Parthala Chowk to rob an ATM. “We had set up a police check post in the area and two people on a motorcycle were seen coming from Charmurti Chowk. We asked them to stop but they started firing on our team,” he said.
